Abstracts
Abstract Rules
The official languages of the Symposium are English and Italian.
Abstracts must be written in English.
The oral and poster presentations should preferably be in English.
Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts on any topic related to mine caves.
An abstract of a maximum of 500 words must be submitted to the Scientific Committee.
Oral and poster presentation will be accepted.
Oral presentation will normally last 15 minutes each.
After the Symposium the presentations, accepted by the Scientific Committee, will be printed in a special issue of the International Journal of Speleology.
Abstract format
The abstract must be composed of a Title, the Author names and addresses, and a text without footnotes, figures and references.
- The name of the corresponding (and presenting) author has to be underlined
- Font type: Times New Roman
- Title: Small caps, bold, centered, font size 14
- Authors: normal bold, centered, font size 12
- Adresses: italics, centered, font size 12
- Text: font size 12, maximum 500 words, justified

The abstracts have to be submitted online before January 31, 2012.
At least one of the authors of each abstract has to be fully registered to the Symposium.
Each author may present no more than 2 abstracts.
